माघस्नानान्नरो याति विष्णुलोकं सनातनम् । सर्वान्कामानवाप्नोति समभ्यर्च्य जनार्द्दनम्

māghasnānānnaro yāti viṣṇulokaṃ sanātanam | sarvānkāmānavāpnoti samabhyarcya janārddanam

ด้วยการอาบน้ำในเดือนมาฆะ มนุษย์ย่อมไปสู่โลกนิรันดร์แห่งพระวิษณุ; และเมื่อบูชาพระชนารทนะโดยถูกต้องตามพิธี ก็ย่อมบรรลุความปรารถนาทั้งปวง
