evamuktvā dvijaśreṣṭho gomatītīramāśritaḥ | upaspṛśya yathānyāyaṃ śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā

ครั้นกล่าวดังนี้แล้ว พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐได้ไปอาศัย ณ ฝั่งแม่น้ำโคมตี และได้กระทำการชำระตน เช่น อาจมนะ เป็นต้น ตามแบบแผนที่ศาสตรบัญญัติไว้โดยชอบ
