विलयं यांति पापानि जन्मकोटिकृतान्यपि । वृथा संन्यासिनां पुण्यं वृथा च वनवासिनाम्
vilayaṃ yāṃti pāpāni janmakoṭikṛtānyapi | vṛthā saṃnyāsināṃ puṇyaṃ vṛthā ca vanavāsinām
“บาปทั้งหลาย—even ที่ก่อไว้ตลอดกำเนิดนับโกฏิ—ย่อมสลายสิ้น เมื่อเทียบกับสิ่งนี้ บุญของผู้สละโลก (สันยาสี) ก็ประหนึ่งไร้ผล และบุญของผู้อยู่ป่าก็ประหนึ่งไร้ผล”
