चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । यदि तात मयाऽज्ञानान्न कृतं द्वादशीव्रतम् । कस्मात्कृतं सशल्यं तु भवद्भिर्द्वादशीव्रतम्

candraśarmovāca | yadi tāta mayā'jñānānna kṛtaṃ dvādaśīvratam | kasmātkṛtaṃ saśalyaṃ tu bhavadbhirdvādaśīvratam

จันทรศรมันกล่าวว่า: “ท่านบิดา หากด้วยความไม่รู้ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้ถือพรตทวาทศี แล้วเหตุใดท่านทั้งหลายจึงถือพรตทวาทศีพร้อม ‘ศัลยะ’ คือมลทินและข้อบกพร่อง?”
