पुण्यहीना न पश्यंति कृष्णाख्यं पुरुषं परम् । वाक्यैर्हेत्वर्थसंयुक्तैर्यदि संबोधिता वयम् । तथापि माया हृदयान्नापैति मधुसूदन

puṇyahīnā na paśyaṃti kṛṣṇākhyaṃ puruṣaṃ param | vākyairhetvarthasaṃyuktairyadi saṃbodhitā vayam | tathāpi māyā hṛdayānnāpaiti madhusūdana

ผู้ไร้บุญย่อมไม่อาจเห็นบุรุษสูงสุดผู้มีนามว่าพระกฤษณะ แม้เราจะถูกชี้แนะด้วยถ้อยคำที่ประกอบด้วยเหตุและความหมายก็ตาม กระนั้น—โอ้มัธุสูทนะ—มายายังไม่จากไปจากดวงใจ
