ऋषय ऊचुः । यदेतद्भवता प्रोक्तमीशानस्य महीपतेः । ईश्वरेण पुरा दत्तमायुर्यावत्स्ववासरम्

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yadetadbhavatā proktamīśānasya mahīpateḥ | īśvareṇa purā dattamāyuryāvatsvavāsaram

เหล่าฤษีกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหีปติ ท่านได้กล่าวถึงอีศานะ—ผู้ปกครองอันทรงอำนาจ—ว่าในกาลก่อน อีศวรได้ประทานอายุแก่ท่านนั้นจนถึงประมาณแห่ง ‘วัน’ ของพระองค์เอง… (ขอจงกล่าวต่อไป)”
