तथैव विष्णुरुत्पन्नः कौशल्यानंदवर्द्धनः । विश्वस्य रमणाच्चैव राम इत्युच्यते बुधैः

tathaiva viṣṇurutpannaḥ kauśalyānaṃdavarddhanaḥ | viśvasya ramaṇāccaiva rāma ityucyate budhaiḥ

ฉันนั้นเอง พระวิษณุทรงบังเกิดเพื่อเพิ่มพูนความปีติแก่พระนางเกาศัลยา; และเพราะทรงยังโลกทั้งปวงให้รื่นรมย์ บัณฑิตจึงขานพระนามว่า ‘รามะ’
