तदा दुंदुबयो नेदुः पटहाश्चसहस्रशः । नंदी तं नादमाकर्ण्य विस्मयात्तवरीतो ययौ
tadā duṃdubayo neduḥ paṭahāścasahasraśaḥ | naṃdī taṃ nādamākarṇya vismayāttavarīto yayau
แล้วกลองดุนทุภีก็กระหึ่ม และกลองปฏหะนับพันก็ดังก้อง ครั้นนันทีได้ยินเสียงอึกทึกนั้น ก็พิศวงและรีบรุดออกไป
