शिवं निरीक्ष्य सा प्राह हे शंभो प्रस्नवो महान् । संजातो मे महादेव किमर्थस्तन्निरीक्ष्यताम् । सर्वज्ञोऽपि महादेवो ह्यब्रवीत्तामथाज्ञवत्
śivaṃ nirīkṣya sā prāha he śaṃbho prasnavo mahān | saṃjāto me mahādeva kimarthastannirīkṣyatām | sarvajño'pi mahādevo hyabravīttāmathājñavat
นางทอดพระเนตรพระศิวะแล้วทูลว่า “โอ้ ศัมภู น้ำนมอันยิ่งใหญ่ได้เอ่อล้นในข้าพเจ้า โอ้ มหาเทวะ สิ่งนี้มีความหมายเพื่อสิ่งใด ขอจงพิจารณาเถิด” แม้ทรงรอบรู้ทุกประการ มหาเทวะก็ตรัสตอบนางประหนึ่งไม่รู้
