तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तेषां सुहृदां वै हिमालयः । सम्यक्संकल्पमकरोद्ब्रह्ममा नोदितस्तदा । इमां कन्यां तुभ्यमहं ददामि परमेश्वर

tacchrutvā vacanaṃ teṣāṃ suhṛdāṃ vai himālayaḥ | samyaksaṃkalpamakarodbrahmamā noditastadā | imāṃ kanyāṃ tubhyamahaṃ dadāmi parameśvara

ครั้นหิมาลัยได้ฟังถ้อยคำของมิตรผู้ปรารถนาดีเหล่านั้น ก็ได้ตั้งปณิธานมั่นคงด้วยแรงดลใจจากพระพรหมา แล้วกล่าวว่า “โอ้ปรเมศวร ข้าพเจ้าขอมอบธิดานี้แด่พระองค์”
