ते चिंत्यमानाश्च सुरास्तदानीं कथं महेशो गिरिजां समेष्यति । किं कार्यमद्यैव वयं च कुर्मो बृहस्पते तत्कथयस्व मा चिरम्
te ciṃtyamānāśca surāstadānīṃ kathaṃ maheśo girijāṃ sameṣyati | kiṃ kāryamadyaiva vayaṃ ca kurmo bṛhaspate tatkathayasva mā ciram
ครั้นนั้นเหล่าเทพผู้ครุ่นคิดจึงกล่าวว่า “พระมเหศวรจะเสด็จมารวมเป็นหนึ่งกับพระคิริชาได้อย่างไร? เราควรกระทำสิ่งใดเดี๋ยวนี้? โอ้พระพฤหัสบดี โปรดบอกโดยอย่าชักช้า”
