विन्ध्यावलिरुवाच । कस्माद्बद्धो मम पतिर्गरुडेन महात्मना । तत्कथ्यतां महाभाग त्वरन्नेव जनार्द्दन । तदोवाच महातेजा बटुवेषधरो हिः
vindhyāvaliruvāca | kasmādbaddho mama patirgaruḍena mahātmanā | tatkathyatāṃ mahābhāga tvaranneva janārddana | tadovāca mahātejā baṭuveṣadharo hiḥ
วินธยาวลีทูลว่า “เหตุใดสามีของข้าพเจ้าจึงถูกครุฑผู้มีมหาตมันผูกมัด? ขอท่านจงบอกโดยเร็วเถิด โอ้ชนารทนะผู้เป็นมงคล” แล้วพระผู้รุ่งเรือง ผู้ทรงแฝงกายในคราบเด็กพรหมจารี ก็ตอบว่า
