Dharmarāja (Yama)
Tirtha: Kedāra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Yama declares the karmic result: by that ripened karma, the gambler will attain Indra’s station for only three ghaṭikās—an exalted yet brief elevation.
Even limited merit can yield extraordinary but time-bound heavenly results; karma’s fruition is exact in measure.
Kedāra-kṣetra, where Śiva-related offerings are portrayed as producing immense merit.
Implicitly, the karmic fruit arises from prior Śiva-dedicated offering; the verse quantifies its result (three ghaṭikās of Indra’s station).
