वृत्रं विलोक्य ते सर्वे लोकपाला महेश्वराः । भयभीताश्च ते सर्वे शिवं शरणमन्वयुः
vṛtraṃ vilokya te sarve lokapālā maheśvarāḥ | bhayabhītāśca te sarve śivaṃ śaraṇamanvayuḥ
ครั้นเห็นวฤตระ เหล่าโลกบาลทั้งปวงผู้เป็นเจ้าอันทรงฤทธิ์ ต่างหวาดหวั่นยิ่งนัก และทั้งหมดก็พากันเข้าถึงพระศิวะเป็นที่พึ่งเป็นสรณะ
