श्रृण्वंत्वमी विप्रतमा इदानीं वचो हि मे कर्तुमिहार्हथैतत् । रुद्रो ह्ययं यज्ञबाह्यो वृतो मे वर्णातीतो वर्णपरो यतश्च
śrṛṇvaṃtvamī vipratamā idānīṃ vaco hi me kartumihārhathaitat | rudro hyayaṃ yajñabāhyo vṛto me varṇātīto varṇaparo yataśca
โอ พราหมณ์ผู้เลิศทั้งหลาย จงฟังถ้อยคำของข้าในบัดนี้ และจงกระทำสิ่งที่สมควร ณ ที่นี้ เพราะรุทระผู้นี้ ข้าได้กันไว้ให้อยู่นอกพิธียัญ—ท่านอยู่เหนือวรรณะ และยังเป็นผู้สูงสุดเหนือวรรณะทั้งปวง; ด้วยเหตุนี้ข้าจึงตัดท่านออก
