एवं तदा दमनकोत्सव ईश्वरस्य आंदोलनेन नृपवेश्मनि मेऽवतारः । शम्भोर्गणत्वमभवच्च तथाग्निवेश्यशापेन गृध्र इह भद्र तवेदमुक्तम्

evaṃ tadā damanakotsava īśvarasya āṃdolanena nṛpaveśmani me'vatāraḥ | śambhorgaṇatvamabhavacca tathāgniveśyaśāpena gṛdhra iha bhadra tavedamuktam

ดังนั้น ในเวลานั้น ระหว่างเทศกาลทมนกะของพระเจ้าและการแกว่งไกวของพระอิศวร การจุติของข้าพเจ้าจึงเกิดขึ้นในวังของกษัตริย์ ข้าพเจ้ายังได้รับสถานะเป็นคณะบริวารของพระศัมภู และ ณ ที่นี้ ดูก่อนท่านผู้เจริญ ด้วยคำสาปของอัคนิเวศยะ ข้าพเจ้าจึงกลายเป็นนกแร้ง นี่คือสิ่งที่ได้บอกแก่ท่านแล้ว
