นางร้องไห้คร่ำครวญพลางกล่าวกับมารดาว่า 'ดูสิ่งที่ท่านพ่อทำเถิด ท่านทำสิ่งที่ไม่เหมาะสมอย่างยิ่งที่ยกข้าให้แก่เจ้าบ่าวเช่นนั้น'
