देव्युवाच । अहं च रक्षयिष्यामि स्वभक्तं कृष्णमृत्युतः । यस्माच्च चंडिकाकृत्ये कृतोऽनेन महारणः । तस्माच्चंडिलनाम्नायं विश्वपूज्यो भविष्यति

Transliteration

devyuvāca | ahaṃ ca rakṣayiṣyāmi svabhaktaṃ kṛṣṇamṛtyutaḥ | yasmācca caṃḍikākṛtye kṛto'nena mahāraṇaḥ | tasmāccaṃḍilanāmnāyaṃ viśvapūjyo bhaviṣyati

Translation

พระเทวีกล่าวว่า: “เราก็จักคุ้มครองภักตะของเรา คือพระกฤษณะ ให้พ้นจากความตาย และเพราะเขาได้ทำมหาสงครามในการรับใช้พระจัณฑิกา ฉะนั้นเขาจักเป็นที่เลื่องลือและเป็นที่สักการะทั่วโลกในนาม ‘จัณฑิละ’”
