सूत उवाच । इति रुद्रवचः श्रुत्वा सहसा तं विमुच्य सः । न्यपतत्पादयोर्हा धिक्कष्टं कष्टं च प्राह सः
sūta uvāca | iti rudravacaḥ śrutvā sahasā taṃ vimucya saḥ | nyapatatpādayorhā dhikkaṣṭaṃ kaṣṭaṃ ca prāha saḥ
สูตะกล่าวว่า: “ครั้นได้สดับพระวาจาของรุทระแล้ว เขาก็รีบปล่อยทันที ล้มลงแทบพระบาท และร้องว่า ‘อนิจจา! น่าอัปยศยิ่ง—ทุกข์หนักหนา เหลือเกิน!’”
