aṣṭadikṣvaṣṭakīlāṃśca nikhanyaiva sasūtrakān | kṛṣṇājinadharo bhūtvā barbarīkasamanvitaḥ

ในทิศทั้งแปด เขาตอกหมุดแปดอันลงไป แต่ละอันผูกด้วยด้าย แล้วสวมหนังกวางดำ และมีบรรพรีกะร่วมไป จึงดำเนินพิธีต่อ
