अपि वर्षशतस्यांते स द्विहायनवच्चरेत् । समर्थं वाऽसमर्थं वा कृशं वाप्यकृशं तथा
api varṣaśatasyāṃte sa dvihāyanavaccaret | samarthaṃ vā'samarthaṃ vā kṛśaṃ vāpyakṛśaṃ tathā
แม้ถึงปลายร้อยปี นางก็ยังปฏิบัติต่อเขาดุจเด็กวัยสองขวบ; จะเป็นบุตรที่สามารถหรือไม่สามารถ จะผอมบางหรือกำยำก็ตาม ความเอ็นดูของมารดาย่อมเป็นของมารดาเสมอ
