विपरीतं परीतं वा स सद्यो मृत्युमृच्छति । दीपाधिगंधं नो वेत्ति वमत्यग्निं तथा निशि
viparītaṃ parītaṃ vā sa sadyo mṛtyumṛcchati | dīpādhigaṃdhaṃ no vetti vamatyagniṃ tathā niśi
หากผู้ใดเห็นสิ่งทั้งหลายกลับตาลปัตรหรือวิปริตเป็นลางร้าย ผู้นั้นย่อมถึงความตายโดยเร็ว หากไม่อาจรับรู้กลิ่นของประทีป และในยามราตรีกลับอาเจียนเป็นไฟ นั่นก็เป็นนิมิตแห่งมรณะ
