ध्येयमेतत्तव प्रोक्तं तस्माद्ध्यानं समाचरेत् । ध्यानस्य लक्षणं चैतन्निमेषार्धमपि स्फुटम्

dhyeyametattava proktaṃ tasmāddhyānaṃ samācaret | dhyānasya lakṣaṇaṃ caitannimeṣārdhamapi sphuṭam

อารมณ์แห่งการภาวนานี้เราได้บอกแก่ท่านแล้ว เพราะฉะนั้นจงปฏิบัติฌานเถิด นี่แลคือเครื่องหมายของฌานอันชัดเจน แม้เพียงครึ่งหนึ่งของการกะพริบตา
