भवन्त्येतानि सर्वाणि लुब्धानामकृतात्मनाम् । सुमहां त्यपि सास्त्राणि धारयंति बहुश्रुताः

bhavantyetāni sarvāṇi lubdhānāmakṛtātmanām | sumahāṃ tyapi sāstrāṇi dhārayaṃti bahuśrutāḥ

โทษทั้งปวงนี้บังเกิดแก่ผู้โลภ ผู้มิได้ขัดเกลาตนให้บริสุทธิ์ แม้ผู้ได้สดับมากและทรงจำพระศาสตราอันไพศาล ก็ยังอาจตกลงในโทษเหล่านี้ได้
