tasmādbuddhimukaistvataiḥ sāttvikairdevatāṃ bhajet | rājasairmānavatvaṃ ca tāmasaiḥ sthāṇuyonitā

ฉะนั้น ด้วยอุปนิสัยสัตตวะที่มีพุทธิอันตื่นรู้เป็นผู้นำ ย่อมบรรลุภาวะแห่งเทวะ; ด้วยราชสย่อมได้กำเนิดเป็นมนุษย์; และด้วยตมสย่อมตกสู่ครรภ์/ภพของสัตว์พืชอันอยู่นิ่ง (สถาณุ)
