bahūdakasya tīre ca pretānuddiśya dīyate | yatkiṃcidakṣayaṃ teṣāmupatiṣṭhenna cānyathā

Translation

สิ่งใดก็ตามที่ถวายทาน ณ ฝั่งบหูทกะ โดยอุทิศแก่เปรต (ผู้ล่วงลับ)—ย่อมเป็นทานอันไม่เสื่อมสูญแก่เขา ทั้งย่อมถึงเขาแน่นอน มิใช่อย่างอื่น
