uttarīyaṃ ca saṃdadhyādvinā tanniṣphalārcanam | bhasmatripuṇḍradhārī ca lalāṭe hṛti cāṃsayoḥ

พึงสวมผ้าคลุมไหล่ (อุตตรียะ) ด้วย; หากไม่มี การบูชาก็ไร้ผล เมื่อทาเครื่องหมายตรีปุณฑระด้วยภัสมะแล้ว พึงประทับไว้ที่หน้าผาก อก และบ่าทั้งสอง
