कार्यारंभं समाप्तिं च वचः प्रोच्य तथा प्रियम् । पिबञ्जिघ्रन्स्पृशञ्छृण्वन्विवक्षुर्मैथुनं तथा

kāryāraṃbhaṃ samāptiṃ ca vacaḥ procya tathā priyam | pibañjighranspṛśañchṛṇvanvivakṣurmaithunaṃ tathā

การเริ่มงานและการทำให้สำเร็จ; การกล่าววาจาแม้ไพเราะน่าฟัง; การดื่ม การดมกลิ่น การสัมผัส การฟัง ความตั้งใจจะพูด และการร่วมเพศ—สิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมดพึงอยู่ใต้การสำรวมและกฎระเบียบในวินัยแห่งมหेशวร (ผู้บูชาพระศิวะ)
