श्राद्धांते ते च प्रत्यक्षा ह्याशिषो मे वदंति च । ततः कदाचित्पितरः प्रहृष्टा मामथाब्रवन्
śrāddhāṃte te ca pratyakṣā hyāśiṣo me vadaṃti ca | tataḥ kadācitpitaraḥ prahṛṣṭā māmathābravan
เมื่อพิธีศราทธะสิ้นสุดลง ท่านเหล่านั้นปรากฏให้เห็นต่อหน้า และยังกล่าวพรอวยชัยแก่ข้าพเจ้า แล้วครั้งหนึ่งเหล่าปิตฤของข้าพเจ้า ผู้ยินดีนัก ได้กล่าวกับข้าพเจ้าดังนี้
