ततो मुनिस्तस्य चक्रे जातकर्मादिकाः क्रियाः । पौरोहित्यं तथा भेजे स्कंदस्यैवाज्ञया प्रभुः

tato munistasya cakre jātakarmādikāḥ kriyāḥ | paurohityaṃ tathā bheje skaṃdasyaivājñayā prabhuḥ

แล้วฤๅษีนั้นได้ประกอบพิธีสังสการแก่เขา เริ่มด้วยพิธีชาตกรรม (jātakarma) เป็นต้น และด้วยพระบัญชาของพระสกันทะ ผู้ทรงเกียรตินั้นก็รับหน้าที่ปุโรหิต (purohitya) ด้วย
