Transliteration

tapojapavratasnānauḥ sādhyaṃtyātmanaḥ param | yajñāṃgasādhanaiḥ kāṃścitkaṃdādiphaladānataḥ

Translation

ด้วยตบะ การภาวนามนต์ (ชปะ) การถือพรต และการอาบน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ณ ตีรถะ ผู้คนย่อมบรรลุประโยชน์สูงสุดแห่งอาตมัน และด้วยการถวายสิ่งจำเป็นอันเป็นองค์ประกอบแห่งยัญญะ—เช่น หัวราก ผลไม้ และสิ่งอื่นๆ—ย่อมได้บุญกุศลด้วย
