नारद उवाच । कालनेमी रुषाविष्टस्तेषां रूपं न बुद्धवान् । ततो निमिं च दैत्येन्द्रं मत्वा देवं महाजवः
nārada uvāca | kālanemī ruṣāviṣṭasteṣāṃ rūpaṃ na buddhavān | tato nimiṃ ca daityendraṃ matvā devaṃ mahājavaḥ
นารทกล่าวว่า “กาลเนมีผู้ถูกโทสะครอบงำ มิได้รู้แจ้งรูปแท้ของพวกเขา ครั้นแล้วผู้มีความเร็วใหญ่หลวงนั้น กลับเข้าใจนิมิ—จอมแห่งไทตยะ—ว่าเป็นเทพ จึงพุ่งเข้ากระทำการ”
