तारक उवाच । वयं प्रभो जातिधर्माः कृतवैराः सहमरैः । तैश्च निःशेषिता दैत्याः कृताः क्रूरैनृशं सवत्
tāraka uvāca | vayaṃ prabho jātidharmāḥ kṛtavairāḥ sahamaraiḥ | taiśca niḥśeṣitā daityāḥ kṛtāḥ krūrainṛśaṃ savat
ตารกะกราบทูลว่า: "ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ โดยธรรมชาติและชาติกำเนิดของพวกข้าพระองค์ พวกข้าพระองค์เป็นศัตรูกับเหล่าเทวดา เหล่าเทวดาได้ทำลายล้างเผ่าพันธุ์แทตย์ของข้าพระองค์จนหมดสิ้น ด้วยความโหดร้ายทารุณไร้ความปรานี"
