अहं तपसिनिष्ठश्च ततः प्रभृति चाभवम् । ब्रह्महत्यादिभिः पापैर्मुच्यते शिवपूजनात्

ahaṃ tapasiniṣṭhaśca tataḥ prabhṛti cābhavam | brahmahatyādibhiḥ pāpairmucyate śivapūjanāt

นับแต่นั้นมา ข้าพเจ้าตั้งมั่นในตบะอย่างแน่วแน่ การบูชาพระศิวะย่อมปลดเปลื้องได้แม้บาปหนัก เช่น พราหมณฆาต (พรหมหัตยา) และอื่น ๆ
