इत्यादिजल्पन्दुर्वृत्तैः श्रूयते दूरतो यमः । स्वकर्मशंकितैः पापै र्दृश्यतेति भयंकरः

ityādijalpandurvṛttaiḥ śrūyate dūrato yamaḥ | svakarmaśaṃkitaiḥ pāpai rdṛśyateti bhayaṃkaraḥ

ด้วยคำพูดเช่นนี้และคำพูดอื่นๆ ของคนชั่ว พระยมจึงเป็นที่ได้ยินจากที่ไกล และเหล่าคนบาปผู้หวาดกลัวต่อกรรมของตนย่อมมองเห็นพระองค์ พระองค์จึงน่าสะพรึงกลัวยิ่งนัก
