vijñāya doṣamubhayoḥ kanyāyāśca varasya ca | saṃbaṃdhaṃ racayetpaścādanyathā doṣabhākpitā

Translation

เมื่อพิจารณารู้โทษ (และความเหมาะสม) ของทั้งสอง คือเจ้าสาวและเจ้าบ่าวแล้วเท่านั้น บิดาจึงควรจัดสัมพันธ์; มิฉะนั้นบิดาย่อมมีส่วนในโทษนั้น
