मतिमद्भ्यो नराः श्रेष्ठास्तेभ्यः श्रेष्ठास्तु वाडवाः । विप्रेभ्योपि च विद्वांसो विद्वद्भ्यः कृतबुद्धयः
matimadbhyo narāḥ śreṣṭhāstebhyaḥ śreṣṭhāstu vāḍavāḥ | viprebhyopi ca vidvāṃso vidvadbhyaḥ kṛtabuddhayaḥ
ในหมู่ผู้มีปัญญา มนุษย์ประเสริฐ; ยิ่งกว่านั้น ผู้มีวินัยและความประพฤติดีเลิศกว่า. แม้ในหมู่พราหมณ์ ผู้รู้ผู้ทรงวิทยาย่อมสูงกว่า; และสูงกว่าผู้รู้คือผู้มีปัญญาสำเร็จและมั่นคง
