นางคือวิทยาธารี ผู้ทรงไว้ซึ่งวิชชาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ และวิศโศกา ผู้ขจัดความโศกเศร้า เป็นที่บูชารับใช้โดยหมู่ชนตลอดกาลนาน เปี่ยมด้วยสายน้ำหล่อเลี้ยงชีวิต ทรงพลัง สถิตในเวหา และเป็นที่รักของเหล่าเทวะ
