संविदं तेन यं वेदा विष्णुर्वेद न वै विधिः । यतो वाचो निवर्तंते ह्यप्राप्य मनसा सह
saṃvidaṃ tena yaṃ vedā viṣṇurveda na vai vidhiḥ | yato vāco nivartaṃte hyaprāpya manasā saha
จิตสำนึกนั้นซึ่งทำให้พระเวทเป็นที่รู้ได้—พระวิษณุทรงรู้ แต่แม้พระวิธิ (พรหมา) ก็ไม่รู้ จากที่นั้น วาจาและใจย่อมถอยกลับ เพราะไปไม่ถึง
