Tirtha: Prayāga (Tīrtharāja)
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: At last the pilgrim beholds the Sangam; the horizon blazes like sunrise. A dark veil representing tamas tears away and dissolves as the confluence gleams, with birds rising and waters shimmering.
Even the mere sight (darśana) of a supreme tīrtha is portrayed as dispelling inner darkness and sin.
Prayāga, the Tīrtharāja, whose darśana is compared to sunrise.
Darśana (seeing the sacred place) is implied as spiritually potent.
