kuśāgranīraviprūṣastṛṣitā yatayo'piban | vātāśinotikṣudhitāḥ pādāgrāṃguṣṭha bhūspṛśaḥ

เหล่ายติผู้กระหาย ไม่ดื่มแม้หยดน้ำที่เกาะอยู่ปลายหญ้ากุศะ แม้หิวอย่างยิ่งก็ยังดำรงด้วยวายุอาหารถ้วนเดียว และยืนจนแตะพื้นเพียงปลายนิ้วหัวแม่เท้าเท่านั้น
