Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda → Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa as Vāsudeva holds Pāñcajanya conch; from his navel blooms the lotus of creation (Padmanābha). A devotee in Kāśī offers añjali near the river, hearing the conch-call as inner awakening.
Remembering the Lord by His sacred names and emblems is itself a purifier and refuge.
Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) is the implied holy setting of this chapter’s stuti.
No direct prescription; the verse implies nāma-smaraṇa (name-remembrance) as a devotional act.
