धिक्कृत्य प्रशशंस स्वं निर्वेदे कारणं त्विदम् । निशम्येति शिशोर्वाक्यं परस्परमवेक्ष्य ते

dhikkṛtya praśaśaṃsa svaṃ nirvede kāraṇaṃ tvidam | niśamyeti śiśorvākyaṃ parasparamavekṣya te

ครั้นได้ฟังวาจาของเด็กน้อย พวกเขามองหน้ากัน แล้วตำหนิตนเองและสรรเสริญความสลดใจของตน กล่าวว่า “แท้จริง นี่แลคือเหตุแห่งความคลายกำหนัดของเรา”
