धिग्धिगेतदधिकर्द्धि चेष्टितं चंक्रमेक्षणविलक्षितं यतः । वीक्षते क्षणमचारुचक्षुषा घातितेन विपदःपदेन च

dhigdhigetadadhikarddhi ceṣṭitaṃ caṃkramekṣaṇavilakṣitaṃ yataḥ | vīkṣate kṣaṇamacārucakṣuṣā ghātitena vipadaḥpadena ca

น่าติเตียนยิ่งนักต่อความดิ้นรนกระสับกระส่ายเพื่อความมั่งคั่งเกินประมาณ—การเที่ยวเดินไปมาและเหลือบมองไปทั่วอย่างประหลาด เพราะแม้เพียงชั่วขณะ สายตาที่ไม่งามและไร้สำรวม พร้อมทั้งก้าวหนึ่งบนหนทางอันคับขัน ก็ทำให้มนุษย์ล้มลงสู่เคราะห์ร้าย
