Tirtha: Candreśvara (Kāśī)
Type: temple
Scene: A devotee far from Kāśī faces east in a small home shrine, visualizing Candreśvara; simultaneously, the Candreśvara temple in Kāśī glows. A dark ‘cloud’ of sins is split by a beam of moonlight, opening a path to a silver Soma-loka above.
Devotion to Candreśvara is presented as powerful enough to destroy accumulated sin and elevate the devotee to a higher celestial state.
Candreśvara in the Kāśī tradition is implied; the verse also stresses that his worship bears fruit even for those not physically in Kāśī.
Proper worship (arcana) of Candreśvara, with the promised fruit of sin-destruction and Soma-loka attainment.
