प्रतिज्ञां शृणुतं तातौ यदि वां तनयो ह्यहम् । करिष्येहं तथा तेन विद्युन्मत्तस्त्रसिष्यति
pratijñāṃ śṛṇutaṃ tātau yadi vāṃ tanayo hyaham | kariṣyehaṃ tathā tena vidyunmattastrasiṣyati
ข้าแต่บิดามารดาผู้เป็นที่รัก โปรดสดับคำปฏิญาณของข้า หากข้าเป็นบุตรของท่านทั้งสองโดยแท้ ข้าจะกระทำให้ถึงขั้นว่า แม้ผู้เกรี้ยวกราดดุจสายฟ้าก็ยังต้องสั่นสะท้าน
