हनूमानुवाच । दुर्जातोऽहं वृथा राम लोके क्लेशाय केवलम् । खिन्नोऽस्मि बहुशो देव राक्षसैः क्रूरकर्मभिः

hanūmānuvāca | durjāto'haṃ vṛthā rāma loke kleśāya kevalam | khinno'smi bahuśo deva rākṣasaiḥ krūrakarmabhiḥ

หนุมานกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่พระราม ข้าพเจ้าเกิดมาอัปมงคล ไร้ประโยชน์ในโลกนี้ ราวกับมีไว้เพื่อก่อความทุกข์เท่านั้น ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า เหล่ารากษสผู้กระทำการโหดร้ายทำให้ข้าพเจ้าอ่อนล้าครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า”
