saptamyāṃ yo naro bhaktyā śrāddhaṃ kuryānmahālayam | saptatiṃ kalpasāhasraṃ prīṇaṃti pitaro'sya vai

ผู้ใดในวันสัปตมี กระทำมหาลยะศราทธะด้วยศรัทธาภักดี บรรพชน (ปิตฤ) ของผู้นั้นย่อมปลื้มปีติแท้จริงตลอดเจ็ดหมื่นกัลป์
