ऋषय ऊचुः । सर्वतीर्थमिति ख्यातिः सूतास्य कथमागता । ब्रूह्यस्माकमिदं पुण्यं विस्तराच्छृण्वतां मुने
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | sarvatīrthamiti khyātiḥ sūtāsya kathamāgatā | brūhyasmākamidaṃ puṇyaṃ vistarācchṛṇvatāṃ mune
เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “โอ้ท่านสูตะ สถานที่นี้มาเป็นที่เลื่องลือว่า ‘สรวตีรถะ’ คือ ตีรถะแห่งตีรถะทั้งปวง ได้อย่างไร? ขอท่านมุนีจงอธิบายบุญกุศลนี้โดยพิสดารแก่พวกเรา ผู้กำลังสดับฟังอยู่”
