सर्वतीर्थेषु च स्नातुमाकांक्षा मम विद्यते । तस्मात्सर्वेषु तीर्थेषु स्नानेन मनुजो हि यत् । फलं प्राप्नोति मे ब्रूहि तत्फला वाप्तिसाधनम्

sarvatīrtheṣu ca snātumākāṃkṣā mama vidyate | tasmātsarveṣu tīrtheṣu snānena manujo hi yat | phalaṃ prāpnoti me brūhi tatphalā vāptisādhanam

แต่ในใจข้าพเจ้ามีความปรารถนาจะอาบน้ำชำระในตถีรถะทั้งปวง ดังนั้นโปรดบอกข้าพเจ้าเถิดว่า มนุษย์ได้ผลบุญใดจากการอาบในท่าน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทั้งหลาย และด้วยวิธีใดข้าพเจ้าจึงจะได้บรรลุผลนั้นเอง
